TL;DR
What this career is
Healthcare domain. Clinic and Hospital shifts, from front desk to general practitioner to surgeon. Biology and Surgery feed it, and the Hospital holds the most jobs of any single venue.

Getting hired
How to land a Healthcare job
Points come from the Biology and Surgery skills plus healthcare experience. Entry clinic roles need none; the General Practitioner (Rank 18) and the Hospital's senior roles need real point totals. Nursing Supervisor (Rank 27) pairs Healthcare with Management.
- 1
Open the job board. Click your Para, choose Use Phone then Find a job — or use any computer (the Town Hall and Library have public ones) or a Hiring poster around Melino.
- 2
Check the Application Points. Rank 1 listings need 0 points; every higher rank needs Application Points equal to its rank number — a Rank 12 job needs 12. Points come from leveled skills, sector work experience, the Charisma stat and certain Vibes.
- 3
Accept and set a schedule. Listings refresh every in-game day, you can hold multiple jobs if shifts don't overlap, and you tweak hours at the bottom of the Occupations tab. Applying internally adds +3 points; a Jester Vibe can roll a random +5.
Rank & pay
The rank ladder, entry to capstone
Pay scales with rank. Figures below are daily salaries cross-checked from the EA job tables — treat them as representative, not guaranteed, since patch 0.1.x can rebalance.
- Entry · Rank 1
Receptionist / Nurse (Clinic) — Rank 1, about $250/day, no Application Points. The clinic is the on-ramp before the Hospital.
- Mid ranks
General Practitioner (Clinic) — Rank 18, about $555/day, needs healthcare experience. The step up from clinic support to clinical work.
- Senior / capstone
Nurse (Hospital, Rank 19, ~$570) and Nursing Supervisor (Rank 27, ~$870) — the Hospital tier; the supervisor role pairs Healthcare with Management. The Systems Engineer (Rank 23) even wants Programming + Biology.

Common mistakes
Three pitfalls on this track
Skipping the clinic
You rarely walk straight into the Hospital. Bank healthcare experience at the clinic first, then the Hospital ranks open up.
Forgetting the Science overlap
Biology feeds both Healthcare and Science. Leveling it keeps lab and hospital listings open at once.
Letting performance slip
Same firing risk as any job. Arrive in a good mood; CLEARSTRIKES clears a bad streak.
