How the estimate works
Paralives has no fixed build price, so this calculator uses Early Access build-mode pricing to give you a realistic planning number. Here's what feeds the total.
- 1
Layout drives structure cost
More bedrooms, bathrooms and floors mean more walls, roof and flooring. The calculator scales the structure line by total rooms across all floors.
- 2
Finish level multiplies furnishing
Basic, Comfort and Luxe apply a rising multiplier to kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living-room furnishing — the biggest swing factor in any Paralives build.
- 3
Lot and foundation are fixed-ish
Buying the lot plus raising a foundation per floor is a near-flat base cost, added before furnishing so the total reflects a move-in-ready home.

Methodology & data sources
Applies to build 0.1.7cEvery number the calculator produces comes from the formulas below — no hidden fudge factors. Figures are community-measured build-mode prices in Early Access, re-checked each patch.
| Line item | Formula (Paradimes) |
|---|---|
| Lot | 6,000 + floors × 2,500 |
| Structure | (bedrooms + bathrooms + 2) × floors × 1,200 |
| Kitchen | 4,500 × finish multiplier |
| Bedrooms | bedrooms × 2,200 × finish multiplier |
| Bathrooms | bathrooms × 1,800 × finish multiplier |
| Living room | 3,800 × finish multiplier |
| Landscaping | 2,500 × finish multiplier |
Finish multipliers: Basic ×1.0, Comfort ×1.5, Luxe ×2.4. Total is the sum of all line items (landscaping optional).
Worked example — starter bungalow
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 floor, Basic finish: lot 8,500 + structure 6,000 + kitchen 4,500 + bedrooms 4,400 + bathrooms 1,800 + living 3,800 = 29,000 Paradimes.
Worked example — family two-storey
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 floors, Comfort finish: lot 11,000 + structure 16,800 + kitchen 6,750 + bedrooms 9,900 + bathrooms 5,400 + living 5,700 = 55,550 Paradimes (plus 3,750 with landscaping).

Build budget FAQ
- How much does a house cost in Paralives?
- There's no fixed price — it depends entirely on size and furnishing. A basic starter home runs around 20,000-40,000 Paradimes; a large luxe build can pass 150,000. Use the calculator above to estimate your specific layout.
- Is this the exact in-game cost?
- No. It's a planning estimate based on Early Access pricing. Real costs shift with the exact objects, Workshop items and decor you place. Treat it as a budget target, not a to-the-dime quote.
- How do I get enough money to build?
- Copy the SETMONEY cheat the calculator generates, or use the Money Builder tool for a goal-driven cheat sequence with backup tips. PIGGYBANK, MAKEITRAIN and JACKPOT are all achievement-safe.
- What does a Paralives house actually need?
- Every need bar must be covered: a bed (energy), fridge and stove (hunger), toilet and shower (bladder and hygiene), and seating for comfort and fun. The checklist above lists the essentials and the nice-to-haves.
