What is Paralives Field Guide?

Paralives Field Guide (paralives.io) is a free, independent fan companion site for the life-simulation game Paralives by Paralives Studio. We maintain guides, cheats, skill tables, career maps, build-mode tutorials, comparison pages and interactive tools — all designed to help players get more out of Early Access.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Paralives Studio. "Paralives" is a trademark of Paralives Studio; we use the name strictly to refer to the game.

What we cover

• 100+ achievement-safe console commands — searchable, categorised, with syntax notes and safety tags.
• 12 skills mapped across 7 knowledge domains, with per-skill leveling guides.
• 11 careers tied to real Melino workplaces, with perk paths and salary tiers.
• Build-mode tutorials — 60+ illustrated guides, from curved walls and foundations to full house archetypes like cottages, A-frames and apartments; most are built frame-checked from real gameplay video.
• Melino tour — all 4 districts, every named venue, weekly town events, collectibles, bills and landmarks.
• Head-to-head comparisons — Paralives vs The Sims 4, inZOI, The Sims 5 (Project Rene), Life by You and the Sims 2/3 classics.
• Interactive tools — money builder, weekly planner, skill calculator, age calculator, bill calculator, hood tracker and challenge generator.
• Troubleshooting — crash fixes, FPS tuning, save recovery, Steam Deck setup.
• Roadmap & patch notes — tracking every numbered build the studio has shipped.

The site ships in five languages: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, Deutsch and Português do Brasil. A small number of legal pages are currently English/Chinese only.

How we research

Every page follows the same rules:

• Official sources first. Patch notes and feature claims come from paralives.com/news and the Steam news hub; a number either traces to an official source or to two independent community ones.
• wiki.gg for game data, credit given. Entity lists — cheats, skills, collectibles, districts, places — build on paralives.wiki.gg data under CC BY-SA 4.0. Names and values are facts; every description is written fresh, and each page credits the source with a link.
• We say what nobody knows. When a value has no traceable source — a formula, an install path, an undocumented cost — we mark it unverified instead of inventing one. Several pages keep an explicit "not yet verified" section listing exactly what no source documents.
• Video walkthroughs are frame-checked. Our illustrated build guides are built from real gameplay footage: every screenshot is verified frame by frame, the source creator is credited on the page, and each step deep-links to the exact moment in the video.
• Versioned and dated. Game facts carry the build they were last verified against, and pages show their checked date. When a patch changes something, the affected pages go to the top of the update queue.
