One-shot life moments. Each card is a tiny scripted event with a permanent outcome — a bonus, a debuff, a new relationship, a goal chain. Roughly 250 cards ship in the EA build.

Life Goals Pack

Multi-step objectives that turn into long-running storylines. Each goal chains 3+ checkpoints.

Moon Pack

Long-tail bonuses. Money refunds, surprise discounts, extra wants overnight.

Social Pack

Anything that touches relationships. New crushes, faster learning in groups, friendship buffs.

  • Sudden romantic interest
  • Learn well with others

Sun Pack

Temporary 24-hour buffs for the active Para. Stat boosts, performance, charisma.

Examples
  • Peak condition (+2 all stats)
  • Intense drive to work (+60% perf)
  • Call of romance

Work Pack

Career swings. Rank bumps, upgrade points, occupation perks.

When cards fire, and how to control them

Triggers

Cards roll on context: lifestage transitions, large relationship deltas, certain career events. Each card has an optional condition (such as being pregnant for the maternity vacation card).

Force a card

GAINSTORYCARD drops a random card immediately. Handy when prototyping a save before a long playthrough.

Duration

Sun-pack buffs last 24 hours. Life Goals are open-ended objective chains. Work and Social cards apply instant deltas. Moon cards can apply over a long tail (e.g. discount on next bill).

Modding

Story Cards are exposed to the mod system. Workshop already hosts joke packs and serious narrative packs alike.
