TL;DR, the heroine legacy in one paragraph
One bloodline, ten generations, each heir locked to one heroine's role: Snow White, Cinderella, Tiana, Aurora, Anna, Rapunzel, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, Merida. Each generation has two or three story rules (who they marry, how many children, what they may not do) plus one EA goal, usually a career or skill milestone that matches the heroine. Versions of this challenge vary across the community; this lineup is built so every generation is playable in Early Access today, with pet, weather and occult clauses paused and marked.
- Ten generations, each heir plays one heroine
- Story rules plus one EA career or skill goal per heroine
- Pet, weather and mermaid clauses paused and flagged
- Snow White's seven children fill the 8-Para cap exactly
The five core rules
Faithful to the classic legacy structure, with each heroine's goals re-mapped to what Paralives Early Access ships.
- 1
One heroine per generation, in order
Each heir takes the next heroine's role: Snow White, Cinderella, Tiana, Aurora, Anna, Rapunzel, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, Merida. Style them in ParaMaker to match, the gown colors are the family album's throughline. Gender-swap any generation freely; the classic rules themselves allow it.
- 2
Live the story rules
Each generation carries its heroine's signature constraints, listed in the ladder below: Snow White never answers the door to strangers, Cinderella cooks every meal and cleans daily, Rapunzel stays on the lot until Young Adult. The story rules are the challenge; the EA goal is the win condition.
- 3
Complete the heroine's EA goal
Paralives has no aspiration system, so each heroine gets one concrete EA goal, a career to master or a skill milestone, listed per generation. A generation counts when its story rules were kept and the EA goal is done before the heir reaches Elder.
- 4
One bloodline, one save
The heir must be a biological or adopted child of the previous heir, raised in the household. Single save file, default Storyteller aging adjusted only for pacing. Money cheats are allowed within reason for set-dressing a castle or cottage, the story rules are the real difficulty.
- 5
Paused clauses are flagged, not faked
Where the classic version needs something EA doesn't ship, the clause is paused and marked: Cinderella's animal friends and Merida's horse wait for the pets update, Elsa-style winter scenes wait for weather, and mermaid Ariel sits out entirely (she's an optional generation in the classic rules too). Reactivate them when the matching patch lands.
Generation ladder
Ten heroines, ten generations
Each rung is one heroine: her story rules, then her EA goal. Community versions vary; this lineup is tuned so every generation completes in Early Access today.
Gen 1, Snow White: seven children
Raise seven children, all with the same father, each carrying one flaw trait. Seven children plus Snow is exactly the 8-Para cap, so the father visits but never moves in. Snow never answers the door to strangers. EA goal: master the Food career, she kept house for seven dwarfs, after all.
Gen 2, Cinderella: the locked hearth
Cinderella cleans the house daily and cooks every household meal herself. She may not marry until her mother has passed, and raises at most three children. EA goal: Cooking to Level 8 before Young Adult, then master it. Her animal-friends clause is paused until pets ship.
Gen 3, Tiana: the restaurant dream
Tiana works from the bottom: start in the Service career, then pivot to Food and master it, her restaurant in all but name. She marries a Para styled in green (the frog) and keeps a kitchen garden if you've got the space. EA goal: Food career mastered plus Cooking 15.
Gen 4, Aurora: the sleeper
Aurora's needs revolve around sleep: her energy bar may never empty, an instant fatigue death is this generation's curse made literal. She stays home until she marries, and her spouse comes courting to the lot. EA goal: master the Art or Music career from home-adjacent shifts.
Gen 5, Anna: the sister bond
Anna needs a sibling, the previous generation must leave her one, and her defining relationship is maxing the bond with that sibling, who carries the Gloomy vibe as the household's Elsa. EA goal: max the sibling bond and master any career while keeping the sibling in the household until they're both adults.
Gen 6, Rapunzel: the tower years
Rapunzel never leaves the lot from birth to Young Adult, school and work excepted only if a story rule demands it. She fills the years with art. EA goal: Painting to Level 15 before leaving home for the first time; after that, she's free and the generation opens up.
Gen 7, Belle: the bookish teacher
Belle is the family's scholar. She befriends a grumpy, isolated Para and marries them only after the friendship is maxed, the beast tamed. EA goal: master the Education career, she gives the town its library in spirit, with Programming or Astronomy as her study skill.
Gen 8, Mulan: the soldier
Mulan trains. EA has no military career, so she masters Fitness, the closest EA discipline, and pushes Exercise to Level 15. She enlists late: no romance until the career is mastered, duty first. The classic's Ariel slot is optional and needs occults, so this lineup goes straight to Mulan.
Gen 9, Jasmine: the palace and the street rat
Jasmine grows up wealthy, the household enters this generation rich from eight generations of grinding, and marries a Para with nothing: move them in before they hold any career, their funds near zero. EA goal: master the Management career while the street-rat spouse climbs from Service rank one.
Gen 10, Merida: the unmarried finale
Merida never marries, the generation that refuses the arranged match. She raises the final heir solo, by birth or adoption, and lives outdoors-first. Her archery and horse wait for future patches, so her EA goal is Fitness mastery plus Exercise 15. When her child reaches Young Adult, the legacy is complete.
Strategy
How to keep ten stories straight
This is a story-rules legacy, the goals are gentle but the constraints stack. Four habits keep the run coherent.
Read the next heroine one generation early
Anna needs a sibling, Jasmine needs family wealth, Merida needs none. Each generation's setup starts one generation before it begins, check the next rung while the current heir is still young.
Use Storyteller aging as the story's pacing
Snow White's seven pregnancies need a long fertile window, slow the aging. Rapunzel's tower years are dull at full length, speed them up. The Storyteller settings are your scene editor.
Dress the set, not just the heir
Each heroine reads best when the lot changes with her: Cinderella's bare kitchen, Rapunzel's one decorated room, Jasmine's palace wing. Money cheats are legal here within reason, this challenge's difficulty was never financial.
Track the story rules, not just the goals
The EA goals are easy to remember; the story rules (never answer the door, never leave the lot) are what slip. Write each generation's two or three constraints in the tracker and glance at it before every session.
When a generation doesn't count
Like most story legacies, fails are soft and the run is forgiving. Only the bloodline itself is sacred.
The bloodline dies out before Gen 10
Every household member dies with no child to continue the line. Hard fail, the storybook closes. Keep an heir candidate alive each generation, Snow White's seven give you slack early.
A story rule is broken
Rapunzel leaves the lot early, Cinderella marries before her mother dies, Merida weds. Soft fail: the generation doesn't count, replay its heir's role with the next child or accept the gap in the album.
The EA goal is missed
The heir reaches Elder without the heroine's career or skill goal. Soft fail, the generation doesn't count toward the ten, but the bloodline and the run continue.
EA compatibility notes
How the heroine legacy maps onto Paralives Early Access, and which clauses wait for patches.
- Paralives has no aspiration system, so each heroine's aspiration becomes one career or skill goal, listed in the ladder.
- Pet clauses are paused until the pets update: Cinderella's animal friends and Merida's horse are flagged, not required.
- There are no occults in EA, so mermaid Ariel sits out, she's an optional generation in the classic rules, and this lineup runs Mulan in that slot.
- Weather and seasons haven't shipped, so winter story beats (the Elsa flavour in Anna's generation) are cosmetic, not required.
- The 8-Para household cap shapes Snow White's generation: seven children plus Snow fills it exactly, so the father visits rather than moving in.

Disney Princess challenge FAQ
The six questions players ask most about running the heroine legacy in Paralives.
- What is the Disney Princess challenge?
- A ten-generation legacy created by MissPlaying for The Sims where each heir lives one Disney heroine's story, with rules drawn from her film: Snow White's seven children, Cinderella's locked-until-mother-dies marriage, Rapunzel's tower years. Community versions vary in lineup and detail.
- Does it work in Paralives Early Access?
- Yes, with honest substitutions. Every generation in this lineup is completable in EA today. Clauses that need pets, weather or occults are paused and flagged per heroine rather than quietly required.
- Which ten heroines does this version use?
- Snow White, Cinderella, Tiana, Aurora, Anna, Rapunzel, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine and Merida, in that order. Ariel is optional in the classic rules and needs mermaids, so she sits out until occults ship. Swap her in for any generation if a patch makes her playable.
- How does Snow White have seven children under the household cap?
- Seven children plus Snow is exactly the 8-Para cap, so the father can't live in the household, he visits, fathers all seven, and stays styled as the same Para throughout. It's the tightest squeeze in the run and the EA cap makes it canon.
- Can I gender-swap the heroines?
- Yes. The classic rules explicitly allow patriarchy or matriarchy swaps, and nothing in the Paralives version depends on gender. Keep the story rules and the EA goal, restyle the rest freely.
- Are money cheats allowed?
- Within reason, yes, this legacy's difficulty is the story rules, not the bank balance. Set-dressing Jasmine's palace or Cinderella's bare kitchen with SETMONEY is fine. The challenge is keeping Rapunzel on the lot, not keeping the lights on.
